The technology is tailored specifically to the challenges of capturing CO₂ contained in diluted flue gas generated by heavy industries, such as cement, limestone and large-scale hydrogen production.Svante Inc. has partnered with Lafarge Canada and Total on a CCUS demonstration project, CO₂MENT, consisting of a pilot plant capturing 1 tonne/day of CO₂ from Lafarge’s cement plant in Richmond, B.C.
