We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Partner Marketing to lead our partner marketing function at Zapier within the Ecosystems and Channels organization.


This role is responsible for the strategies and programs necessary to attract and deepen the engagement we have with our Partners and effectively market with and through our Partners to reach new customers. This includes managing and building a team of partner marketing managers who design, execute, and maintain programs or campaigns that accelerate Zapier’s goals, business value for partners, and customer productivity.


Scale and cross-functional relationships are critical to all of the work we do at Zapier. This role will work closely with our product, engineering, partner managers, operations, and marketing teams to optimize the partner experience and drive outsized results through strategic programs.

About You


  • You’re an experienced Partner Marketing leader. You have 8+ years experience working in partner marketing and have experience leading and growing a high performing partner marketing manager team that delivers business impact. You’ve had budget authority and are able to manage vendors, track ROI, and plan for future needs.
  • You’re self-directed and collaborative. You’re comfortable planning and prioritizing multiple initiatives and requests across many different teams. You identify best practices and opportunities to scale or repurpose successful marketing motions across multiple areas of the business to increase time to market and optimize resources. You’re comfortable making decisions quickly and navigating trade-offs when necessary.
  • You know what works and how to measure success. You’re proficient in developing content and campaigns across various platforms, including email, social, search, events, online, in-person. You have a clear understanding of funnel metrics, ROI, targets and analysis, and the ability to affect results across multiple functions. You’ve set goals through uncertainty before, establishing processes and means to create visibility and paths forward.
  • You are well versed in Partner Programs. You have designed and implemented a partner program strategy and roadmap to segment, recognize, reward partners for business growth and alignment with company priorities. You are familiar with partner portals/systems and comfortable defining business requirements to improve partner experience.
  • You are passionate about driving Partner growth. You develop and position partner value propositions to gain alignment and traction with partners for mutual, user-centric benefit. You know how to segment partners based on lifecycle stage, strategic alignment, industry, solution categories and prioritize marketing efforts and the level of engagement for the best possible outcomes.


Things You’ll Do


  • Develop and execute strategies focused on driving partner awareness, partner engagement, and demand generation through an ecosystem of partners.
  • Develop joint marketing strategies and execution plans that include clear objectives, key metrics, and outcomes with our top integration partners to reach our joint customers.
  • Collaborate, influence, and create integrated plans across the marketing organization including: Product Marketing, events, email, social, community, demand generation / lifecycle marketing, growth as well as other functions such as: Business Development, Partner Management, Partner Operations, Product, Engineering, and Legal.
  • Manage and evolve the Zapier partner program requirements and benefits and drive improvements to partner portals and overall partner experience.
  • Guide partner-facing product development with recommendations, expertise, and best practices from data-driven learnings of Program and Marketing efforts.
  • Provide consistent communication including dashboards and reports outlining quantifiable results, campaign ROI, program analyses and recommendations to marketing, GTM leadership, Partnerships and Product teams.
  • Set partner marketing targets and business impact goals, analyze data, and be accountable for achieving the targets.
  • Build business cases to justify investment or secure resources for new tactics, systems, vendors, or programs.
