Tsunami Solutions Ltd. was founded in Vancouver, BC, Canada in 1999, for the purpose of creating innovative technology solutions to real-world problems. It was born from one customer’s need to effectively monitor the safety of their large staff of remote workers. Tsunami designed its signature SafetyLine product to meet this demand and now continues to move towards our vision of protecting every person, everywhere, with our technologies.
Who you are:
You are looking to take your previous experience in software development and apply it to something meaningful. You want to work for an organization and team that values your ideas and contributions towards the growth and focus of our product. You have an interest in technological safety solutions, work well in a small and agile team environment, and believe in always learning. You have excellent analytical skills with a pragmatic yet conceptual approach to decision-making.
You have experience in
· 7+ years of planning, coding, and delivery of commercial software using C#,
· 5+ years with Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL, including expertise in; SQL language, stored procedures, triggers, and SQL Server admin,
· 2+ years database deployment pipelines and DACPACs,
· Object Oriented Design,
· Microsoft Office Suite,
· Collaborative teamwork.
What you will do:
· Design and develop software, architecture, specifications, and technical interfaces.
· Deliver and test software prototypes.
· Work on a big part of the product life cycle - from functional analysis and design through development testing.
· Leverage technologies and best practices to deliver a proven and quality product.
· Innovate and develop high-value technology solutions to streamline processes.
· Assist development team in handling ongoing tasks as required in a collaborative environment.
· You will work remotely from your home anywhere in BC.
The compensation offered will be based on your previous experience.
