Program Manager

Vancouver, BC

Electronic Arts connects hundreds of millions of players from around the globe to some of the world's greatest games. Our Digital Experiences team is focused on leading the strategy and implementation of technical projects/experiences that allow our players to create and connect deeper with our franchises, both in and out of the game. These projects span digital touchpoints where players create or consume content, including in-game tools and new web platform experiences.


As a Lead Project Manager, you will be focused on coordinating, tracking, estimating, and planning projects within our engineering teams. You will assess technical limitations with studio and CTO partners, identify milestone moments, create roadmaps and align teams on a plan to deliver on time, and on scope. You will partner with other Project Managers within the EA organization and our own Ventures Creator organization where you will work within the engineering group reporting to our Head of Engineering.


Joining Creator Engineering means you will shape EA's online presence and connection to players; evolve in-game tools and online experiences beyond what they are today. Your role will bring clarity and planning to exciting projects which will enable our engineering team to operate at their best.   • Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Agile project development, using methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
  • Create project roadmaps, sprint planning, retrospectives, own daily team management & manage dependencies.
  • Empower teams through project management.
  • Provide risk analysis and mitigation
  • Budgeting and resource planning
  • Oversee and maintain workspaces through tools like: Jira, Airtable, and other project management, reporting and tracking tools.
  • Qualifications :
  • 7+ years project management experience – preferably in the tech / software development industry. Games industry experience is a big plus.
  • Leadership experience and a desire to lead and help teams achieve their goals
  • Engineering and software development background is desirable
  • Experience in negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution in complex project setups
  • Presentation and communication ability across all levels
  • Focused on motivating and inspiring team(s) to work as one towards the project goals.
  • Experience with shipping products to spec and timelines.
  • Understand engineers and how they function from a technical perspective.


Bc Compensation And Benefits


The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.


BASE SALARY RANGES


  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):


º $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually


Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. "
