About The Team


The Manager will be part of team CTO Strategy and Operations reporting to the Director, CTO Strategy, Portfolio & Operations. This team responsible for strategy and planning, portfolio management, labour governance, engagement and communications, and business operations for Tech Foundations (TF) and the Global Technology Enablement (GTE) organization.


The manager will be responsible to deliver core business activities as part of a hub and spoke model from the Technology Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, and cross functional teams across the broader organization. This includes Business Operations, Portfolio Management, Financial Management, Vendor Management, Workforce Management, Enterprise Planning, and more.


Operations/Business Management


  • Partners to deliver core business activities ensuring collaboration and coordination with leadership, Technology Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, and cross functional teams across the broader organization. This includes Business Operations, Portfolio Management, Financial Management, Vendor Management, Workforce Management, Enterprise Planning, and more
  • Plans and manages effective communication between the CTO and their stakeholders (stakeholders (their leadership team, Technology org, department, and other stakeholder) including communication plan, overseeing prep and delivery of communications and change support
  • Manages team's rhythm of business (ROB) and operating and communication calendar with cross-company/team counterparts line up recurring expectations and priorities with effective recurring meetings
  • Delivers operational scorecards to report performance metrics and provides actionable business insights to enable effective decision-making. Helps drives accountability for teams and organization in executing core business activities. Aligns priorities with OKRs and performance metrics
  • Ensures internal continuation of business operations for during all times, including periods of change or unusual circumstances. Contributes to finding workable solutions to business problems to improve operational efficiencies and improve quality
  • Supports and leads CTO and Vancouver event management and org activations including Demo Days, Hackathon, sweat activities, culture boosters, IDEA activations, offsites etc. Manages CTO events & exec vendor calendar and leads and orchestrates delivery of events
  • Enables programs that monitors team/organization health and runs programs enabling IDEA, People and Talent, as well as promoting culture initiatives
  • Partners with the leadership team to develop and execute planning processes, ensuring coordination with corporate planning processes as well as identifying and collaborating with other teams across the broader organization
  • Develop, implement and oversee quarterly business reviews
  • Works closely with Director, CTO Strategy & Operations on day-to-day operations, strategic planning, execution, and other key projects


Qualifications


  • 8-10 years of experience in business operations or product/program management with track record of increasing scope of roles and responsibilities
  • Relevant experience with engineering environments working on rhythm-of-business activities, business operations, business management, customer engagement, or other similar environments
  • Lead and develop a dynamic team of project managers and analysts, focused on support, operations, and planning Responsible for ensuring plans are communicated in a timely and accurate manner to cross-functional partners highlighting, risks and opportunities
  • Top tier project management skills and the ability to drive for results across a distributed set of stakeholders, from early in career to senior leadership
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Results-oriented, self-directed and accountable, with the horsepower to solve complex problems and high standards for success
  • Comfort working with technical engineering teams and ability to quickly grasp new ideas

Compensation And Benefits Package


lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $107,500 - 141,100  annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
