a day in the life: key responsibilities


The Manager, Digital Portfolio Management will lead a team of project and program managers and set the vision for the team, while creating and implementing best practices for Project Management. This role will partner with key cross-functional teams to deliver work across our digital and ecommerce business.


  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Digital Project and Program Managers including contract resources as required.
  • Manage stakeholders across various levels of the organization (up to VP+), including feedback loops and expectation management.
  • Partner and collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, Brand, Product Management, Ecommerce, and other groups to identify and predict annual and ongoing resource needs.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards to elevate processes and tools in support of the team, the quality of the work, and the efficiency of how the team operates.
  • Support the team in creating and updating project plans, briefs, milestones, schedules, budget follow-up documents, and other documents related to specific projects.
  • Measure, report, and communicate project/ program/ portfolio performance, tracking milestones across the portfolio for key projects.
  • Execute & communicate the program strategy and overall program/portfolio story (via a project charter).
  • Intake work within the portfolio and work with the leaders to determine how to move forward. Create and maintain an onboarding playbook for both new hires and new projects.
  • Create and maintain a program/project scope playbook.
  • Work with your Manager, to continuously assess, investigate and improve PG&P processes supporting the Digital and Ecommerce teams.


Qualifications


  • Minimum BA / BS degree from a four-year accredited university is preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 5+ years of project management and/or related experience and 2+ years of people leadership experience
  • Experience seeing projects through the full lifecycle and according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline with a demonstrated ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve conflicts across working groups.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, issue resolution, and customer relationship management with demonstrated people leadership skills.
  • Experience working and collaborating with multiple disciplines, including technical systems and/or technical teams and/or agile scrum seen as an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, negotiation and presentation.
  • Has a deep desire to learn and improve by seeking, accepting and acting on productive feedback.

Compensation And Benefits Package


lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $107,500 – $141,100 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
