Manager of Product Marketing

On behalf of our client in Vancouver, BC, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Manager of Product Marketing for a permanent full-time position. This position is a 100% remote position with a strong preference for Pacific Standard Timezone (PST) candidates legally able to work in the US and/or Canada


Role:

We are looking for an experienced product marketing leader to drive the client’s go-to-market, messaging, positioning, and channel marketing strategy for their flagship enterprise telecommunication platform.


As Manager of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and integrating the positioning and messaging for GTM solutions targeted at enterprise customers and channel partners. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you will define ways to communicate use cases effectively to the targeted market, and you will produce the content necessary for sales, channel partners, investors, and market influencers to drive awareness and generate new opportunities.

 

This position reports to the COO and has no direct reports at this time.



Responsibilities:

  • Create impactful content that makes product and value propositions clear to internal and external constituents.
  • Build content and programs to support our channel partners in selling the flagship platform.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand messaging effectiveness and improve content based on their feedback.
  • Work with the product team to understand product features, benefits, and roadmap to accurately portray our solution to the market.
  • Interview customers to understand how they perceive the client brand and use their product to improve the customer experience, generate case studies, and refine the messaging.
  • Recruit and manage contractors within the budget to help with content creation and channel support.
  • Responsible for content for website, presentations, collateral, press releases, and social media.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a technical field with 7+ years of experience in B2B software product marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience in orchestrating a wide range of marketing initiatives - from strategic planning to messaging to go-to-market implementation.
  • Proven track record of creating clear and impactful content.
  • Passion for creating an excellent customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to partner with diverse stakeholders.
  • Spokesperson experience and track record of working with press and analysts.
  • Self-starter, leads, and facilitates management of details needed to accomplish tasks; simultaneous management of several programs and initiatives.
  • Networking, telecommunications, or enterprise platform experience.



Nice-to-haves:

  • Previous technical experience with telecommunication infrastructure or products will be an asset
