To support us in achieving our digital transformation objectives, we are seeking an enthusiastic, performance-driven project management professional to provide program and project management ownership of assigned Digital Business delivery initiatives. This is a multifaceted role, which will offer challenging and rewarding opportunities in leading Agile and Scrum initiatives, planning and coordinating projects, and standing up an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Center of Excellence.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with talented and passionate individuals across various business lines, including R&D, Product, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and others to help bring concept to reality. As an experienced project manager in digital technology delivery, you will bring best practices, discipline, and a value-oriented customer mindset into the execution of numerous greenfield I.T., Business Solution, and Digital Innovation initiatives that range from rapid-cycle proofs-of-concept to major system implementations.


To be successful in this role, you will have a solid understanding of Agile delivery as it relates to Application Lifecycle Management using tools like Azure Boards / DevOps, MS Project Online, and MS Project for the Web. You will understand key technical concepts including cybersecurity, identity management, data access, RESTful API integration, machine learning, and advanced analytics. Above all, you will be an emotionally intelligent individual who brings collaboration, enthusiasm, and a holistic value-creation focus into all that you do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Scrum Master / Project Manager for Digital Business initiatives that involve various combinations of project sizes and tailored delivery methodologies, leveraging appropriate Agile and PMBOK processes to enable effective delivery.
  • Lead the creation of an EPMO Center of Excellence for Digital Business, including creating templates, guides, execution and change processes, and other governance-enabling items.
  • Perform key communications regarding change, project status, and project value proposition.
  • Identify project risks, prepare risk mitigation plans, and actively manage risks.
  • Effectively manage scope, budget, resources, and schedule for assigned initiatives.
  • Integrate requirements definition, design activities, implementation tasks, and change management activities into portfolio and project plans.
  • Mentor and coach other staff, such as Product Owners, Team Leads, and Service Providers in project delivery best practices and methodologies.
  • Assist in maintaining the Digital Business Portfolio / Program roadmap.
  • Define and measure change related KPIs and CSFs and contribute to continuous improvement.


Key Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years’ direct work experience in a project management capacity in a combination of traditional and agile environments.
  • A solid understanding of common project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Skills in Kanban, Lean Agile, and/or Lean Six Sigma would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering Information Management and Information Technology proofs of concept, pilots, agile release trains, and projects.
  • A good technical understanding of common I.T. technologies and domains, including cybersecurity, API integration, and cloud-based tools for big data & analytics such as Azure.
  • Good working knowledge of most of the following: Project Online, Project for the Web, Azure DevOps, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Dynamics 365 ERP and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated experience building strong relationships and team synergy in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability identifying and managing project-level stakeholder conflict.
  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  • Advocacy of Lean Principles, and sincere, passionate belief in Svante’s values and business mission.
  • A recognized certification in Project Management, preferably PMI PMP.
  • An undergraduate degree in a related field.
