Role Description
We are looking for a Head of Product, our second hire in this category, to own and grow the product team at Cognitive3D. This is a key hire, reporting to the CEO, and will be a key member of our leadership team.
As the leader of product, you will be responsible for setting the Cognitive3D product strategy, supporting product design and representing the voice of our customers. You will be working on developing an advanced analytics product, which requires strategic thinking, and innovative solutions from technical problem solving through to data storytelling.
This is a remote position, anywhere in North America, but the business hours will be aligned with the PST/PDT timezone. The company is primarily based out of Vancouver, BC if you’d like to be in close proximity to the team, or get out with folks socially.
What you will be doing:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align product strategy and priorities that deliver measurable results.
- Define and own the vision and roadmap for products and communicate it effectively inside and outside the company.
- Translate product roadmap into well-defined product requirements.
- Work with the engineering team to define and deliver on sprints.
- Lead planning sessions, and drive accountability with engineering.
- Partner with business development and customer success to deeply understand customer needs and reflect them in our roadmap.
- Collaborate with product designers to deliver on new features and capabilities or improved workflows to existing features.
- Work with marketing to coordinate the launch of new features and ongoing product communications.
- Further grow the product management function at Cognitive3D and build a world-class product organization.
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years experience in product management and/or production leadership
- A track record of building exceptional products that delight your users and produce clear business impact
- Experience with game production, 3D engines, and analytics products.
