Department Overview


The Global Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing all strategic marketing and product marketing programs across the globe to drive product awareness, demand generation and sales enablement. The team oversees the global product marketing strategy for the video, access control and analytics portfolio, develops the messaging and go-to-market strategy for the VS&A business, creates and drives marketing programs and campaigns aimed to generate leads and builds brand awareness among target audiences, including system integrators, end-users and consultants.


Job Description


Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demands. This is a pipeline role, while there may not be an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective candidates. As Global Content Development Manager, you will work with the Marketing Team to build and maintain a comprehensive content strategy that improves market awareness, communicating our value to our channel partners and customers via content creation, storytelling and optimization. Using a collaborative approach, you will work across sales, product management and marketing teams to develop sales enablement and demand generation tools, including but not limited to web pages, blogs, email campaigns, datasheets, video scripts and case studies.


Day to Day Responsibilities:


  • Support the development and execution of a content strategy aligned with business objectives, creating compelling content that resonates with target audiences and drives organic growth.
  • Optimize new and existing content to align with SEO standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product and leadership teams to identify topics of value that engage customers, boost brand awareness and increase website traffic.
  • Research, generate and edit industry and product-specific copy to be used in a variety of sales and marketing assets, including emails, websites, datasheets etc.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and content reviewer for the pieces and concepts created.
  • Recommend changes in content based on market input and corporate initiatives.
  • Ensure creative marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Attend marketing events, team meetings and functions as required.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Knowledge of inbound marketing and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with Hubspot, search-engine optimization tools and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress.
  • Experience interviewing customers/internal teams for case studies, success stories or related projects.
  • Prior professional experience within content marketing or other B2B focused marketing roles.

The base salary for this role is CAD $90,000-110,000 depending on experience.

  • 4+ years of professional experience.
