On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Director - Digital Innovation Providers for a six (6) month engagement based in Burnaby, British Columbia. This client is pleased to offer a remote work model.



Director - Digital Innovation Providers Job Details


  • Ensure that the deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as identified in the roadmap and be responsible for all aspects of the program including co-chairing Steering committees and sub-working groups.
  • Inform the development and execution of strategic and operational plans, such as the development of a multidisciplinary team in partnership with OceanMD and Doctors of BC
  • Oversees human resource management of clinical specialists and provides consultation, guidance, and support to designated project staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Serves as the Digital Innovation Provider lead for engagement with the physician community and governing bodies such as the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons, Divisions of Family practice and other BC Health Organizations.
  • Identifies and tracks metrics as they relate to the project deliverables, including establishing a detailed project charter, plans and objectives to outline timelines and project deliverables.
  • Execute project plan according to project methodologies, ensure successful and coordinated completion of project components, consult with stakeholders as needed and ensure readiness for project implementation.
  • Monitor and report on the status of projects and major barriers encountered. Make recommendations to the Acting Executive Director regarding projects scope and related changes required to facilitate a successful outcome.
  • Implement or contribute to the implementation of effective processes to assess project risks, identify risk mitigation strategies, and monitor risk throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of project budgets within the context of operations demands and environmental and resource constraints and use best practice methods to thoroughly monitor and adhere to allocated budgets.


Director - Digital Innovation Providers Mandatory Skills


  • A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a healthcare related degree from an accredited University, a Master’s degree is preferred, plus a minimum of seven to ten (7-10) years recent related clinical experience that includes two (2) years working in a managerial/leadership capacity.
  • Proven leadership ability, with communication and interpersonal skills conducive to interacting in a multidisciplinary environment and ability to relate easily to a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong skills in operations management and collaborative working relationships that promote cooperative goal achievement and contribute to an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with Senior Management team and Executives
  • Previous experience with large-scale clinical IT projects for the health authorities of BC
  • Self-directed and highly motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheets, word-processing, PowerPoint, and other software at an expert level
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Have least two years direct experience providing senior level leadership for a large-scale electronic referral platform.

  • Experience with OceanMD (https://www.oceanmd.com/) is strongly preferred

Six (6) month contract with the potential for three (3) extensions of six (6) months each.
