Digital Marketing Operations Manager - Central Services

Remote Vancouver, BC

We are seeking an individual to take on the key responsibility of implementing and managing the firm's digital marketing technologies across NRF globally. The role reports to the Sr. Director, Central Services, and works closely and in alignment with the regional Digital Managers, and the Head of Brand and Communications, Central Services. This dynamic role demands a high level of collaboration with teams throughout NRF, and provides an exceptional opportunity to lead the planning, implementation, and performance measurement of our digital marketing technology stack, including platforms, integrations, and data. To excel in this role, we're looking for proactive problem solving analytical and creative individual with exceptional stakeholder management skills to develop and drive our Digital Marketing strategy.


You will be focusing on:


  • Working collaboratively with regional CMOs, digital leads and the Head of Brand and Communications, Central Services, to support the development of a marketing technology roadmap that supports the business across all five NRF regions (EMEA, US, Canada, South Africa and Australia).
  • Provide strategic guidance on the marketing technology stack (including the firm's intranet).
  • Oversee the firm's website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines (SEO). Regularly track website performance and implement improvements to enhance the user experience.
  • Assist the firm to select the right marketing technology tools.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners, to ensure we are leveraging our investments.
  • Advise and oversee the firm wide MarTech data strategy.
  • Report and provide performance analysis on marketing activities across all channels.
  • Oversee the configuration, deployment, operation, and use of existing platforms, working with suppliers as appropriate.
  • Develop and promote a continuous improvement approach for the MarTech stack.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy and other applicable regulations within the firm's MarTech stack.
  • Mentor and develop the regional digital marketing teams.


What you bring to the role:


Background:


  • Extensive experience (including both operational and strategic) of core marketing platforms including: website, intranet, email marketing, client relationship management, and social media management platforms.
  • Previous experience working in a Digital leading role within a professional service firm
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related discipline required.


Leadership and planning:


  • Proven experience in leading the development and roll-out of a digital marketing roadmap that supports the business objectives.
  • Ability to undertake significant change and project management activities operating across teams and across multiple geographies.
  • Experience in building executive-level materials, with the ability to distil complex concepts into clear, easy-to-understand business presentations.


Stakeholder management:


  • Natural influencing skills, with an ability to work successfully with both junior and senior people.
  • A strong collaborator, bringing people together across offices and functions to work effectively in virtual teams in a complex global matrix structure.


Technology & analytics:


  • Knowledge of the emerging MarTech landscape.
  • Experience with website optimization, including UX design, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Knowledge of online advertising in fields such as search engine marketing, social & pay per click.
  • Specific experience of the following platforms would be beneficial: Sitecore, Vuture, MS365, InterAction, SEMRush, Sharepoint, Eloqua, ON24, LinkedIn.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Including using tools such as Google Analytics.
  • A strong understanding of data management fundamentals, including GDPR requirements and compliance.
  • Vancouver Salary: $102,564 - $166,667. Salary will be discussed and negotiated during interview and will be based on experience.
