Wed and Digital Marketing Manager:

As a web and PPC marketing manager, you're a bit of a jack of all trades and willing to learn (and grow) with some of Canada's best marketers. Quark is growing rapidly and we're looking for someone to join our team and help run with us. Each day is different, and you thrive in the ability to pick up various assignments each and every week and run with them as needed. You have a deep understanding of e-commerce and the digital marketplace, and thrive on data based decision making. You have experience in web design and development, and have dabbled with CRM and email/SMS marketing. Come with a good attitude - we can teach the rest. We're on a mission to help as many Canadian parents as we can, and we're looking for someone to help shoulder the load!


Core Responsibilities:

  • Ecommerce Development and Strategy
  • Oversee paid search and SEO/SEM strategies
  • Manage email content and campaigns
  • Improve company’s website content and language
  • Manage monthly newsletter and knowledge-based blogs
  • Create demand generation programs
  • Webinar content and design


Ecommerce Development and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement vision, roadmaps, and program backlog of the local eCommerce strategy. Strategically grow eCommerce ahead of the market in specific location
  • Financial Analysis and Delivering against KPIs; review KPIs daily/weekly and report back to region on results/learnings/tactics to improve
  • Identify and coordinate local promotions and launch of new products within the
  • Commercial Mindset/Marketing Analysis; evaluate best sellers/most searched items/brands to determine which items to highlight on landing pages, will work as the liaison between global team and local category managers to develop content
  • Enrich and optimize product local descriptions in digital channels
  • Optimize end-to-end region-specific customer journeys by devising new solutions, services, products, or propositions
  • Identify and implement new opportunities throughout the customer journey to deliver high performing, agile customer interactions, and touchpoints


Email and SMS Marketing

  • Develop and execute marketing activities, including email marketing (e.g. newsletter), and social media campaigns through our existing tech stack (Klaviyo, WooCommerce).
  • Provide reporting, metrics, and monthly improvements to email campaigns and cadence to amplify Quark's database and conversion variables.


Website Development

  • Through social media amplification and campaigns, promote corporate sponsorships, events, and panel participation.
  • Basic web development and ongoing maintenance to corporate and sub brand webpages as required.
  • Work with the team to identify technical website development needs and work with external consultants to deliver required updates (e.g. functionality).


The Quark Reality

  • We're a start-up and we're running quickly. You'll need to perform "other duties as required". If we're headed to a tradeshow - you might need to get some business cards and t-shirts made. We've crafted the "box" of your role, but we expect (and encourage) to make this job yours.


Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3 Years – Experience in marketing within the baby or consumer packaged goods industries.


Competencies

  • Strong background in digital marketing principles such as funnel optimization UX, SEO & Landing Page optimization & experience in running A/B tests for campaigns and deriving customer insights
  • Experience in Adobe tools (e.g., Magento, marketing tools) and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and Social planning suite.

Education

  • Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management/Business/Economics/Web Development or other related field or equivalent experience
