JOB TITLE: Digital Account Executive, SAP Intelligent Spend (Canada)

LOCATION: Home Office, Canada

 

Description

The primary purpose of the Digital Account Executive is to sell the SAP Intelligent Spend Cloud solutions to organizations within a territory and achieve their overall revenue goal. In order to achieve this goal, the Digital Account Executive must create a complete territory business plan that generates at least 4x their quota in pipeline opportunity. This role will have a larger number of accounts with a lower touch support model from our extended team, leveraging our current and digital assets. The Digital Account Executive is responsible to identify and qualify opportunities, develop and drive strategy across various digital channels. Under the supervision & guidance of the Digital Sales Manager, the Digital Account Executive will develop an opportunity plan containing the value proposition for SAP Intelligent Spend software and services to potential customers & prospects in that territory. It is expected that the Digital Account Executive be adept at creating and nurturing executive relationships to amplify success.

 

Expectations and Tasks

  • Achieve / exceed quota targets for Cloud 
  • Will have a larger number of accounts in territory (higher density); more time will be focused on pure prospecting predominantly through digital channels.
  • Works with the Sales Manager and team to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline & close deals in the Market Unit and for the regional Lob
  • Establishes strong relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and commitment to value 
  • Actively understand each customer’s business strategy, technology footprint, strategic growth plans, and competitive landscape. 
  • runs the end-to-end sales cycles from demand generation to closure.
  • Leads efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share and revenue attainment within named accounts
  • Develops sales best practices securing repeatable and expansive opportunities across named accounts with a lower touch support model from the extended SAP team.
  • Will leverage modern sales automation tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn, Zoom Info, and Iris
  • 0-10% travel expectations (when policy allows)

 

Work Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience selling business software and/or IT solutions primarily to small and mid-market accounts
  • Experience selling to CXOs
  • Proven track record in target achievement
  • Proven track record in business application software sales across industries 
  • Business level English: Fluent

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology
