We are seeking an Associate Technical Program Manager in Toronto or remote. This candidate will primarily drive programs across Product with a starting focus with the Network pillar. In this role, you’ll partner with Engineering, Product, Design, Quality, and cross-functional development teams and partners to run projects and programs, launch features, and coordinate cross-functional efforts.

What you will be doing:

  • Be a strategic partner to product and engineering leaders. Become a strong influencer with credibility with peers and stakeholders, capable of building productive, trusting relationships with partners.
  • Develop and roll out operational strategies, tools, and processes for new and existing teams
  • Create and modify dashboards, track dependencies, run reports, and flag risks
  • Build automated reporting and alerts for bugs, risks, and sprint reports. And provide regular updates on programs via reports and presentations.
  • Track areas of concern, escalate risks, and identify blockers with accountability for ensuring resolutions are reached
  • Track projects against the committed dates and release schedule
  • Build and maintain timelines, project plans, and communication artifacts to ensure everyone is operating from the most recent and accurate information
  • Become a domain expert in your spaces with the ability to articulate how the engineering systems works, process flows, and can quickly recognize dependencies and risks

What you should have:

  • At least 5 years leading planning, program management, and project lifecycles in a dynamic product or engineering organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or two years of equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with sufficient level of technical capability to effectively communicate with engineers, scope technical projects, and identify technical risks
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and experience managing activities across multiple teams
  • Contains an aptitude for learning technical concepts and applying them within the context of their work
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects and programs with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to build strong relationships and trust with partner teams and stakeholders
  • Jira user experience
  • SQL, scripting experience
  • Experience with agile and/or lean product development practices and principles
  • Self-motivated and the ability to motivate others
  • Extremely proactive
  • Can effectively navigate and cope with change

Nice to have:

  • Experience with OKRs, V2MOMs, and/or SMART goals
  • Jira administrative experience
  • Tableau experience
  • You can draw from your experience of working at a company that scaled quickly
  • Experience with additional productivity and tracking tools

For British Columbia-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is CAD 91,200 to CAD 125,400.
